Clucking Chaos (2023)
'Clucking Chaos' is a mobile game that was commissioned by a YouTuber called Floky, who was creating a video to see who would create the best Angry Birds parody game out of a few developers that he found through the freelance service Fiverr.

I worked on this project with my dear colleague at Locus Amoenus. This game was created using the game engine Unity as well as other tools such as Blender to make the 3D models and Adobe Illustrator for the UI. I designed/created the sceneries and the UI;  while my partner developed the code and the models.

It is a physics-based puzzle game, in a cartoonish style, full of dynamic destruction and a lot of chaos. The main character can be customized to increase its abilities.

9Lives (2022)
'9Lives' is a mobile strategy game in which a chonky cat named Cosmo wants to reach the inside of his favourite cardboard box.

I worked closely with a dear colleague throughout the development process. I was in charge of the art and design aspects of the game, while my partner would focus more on technical programming (Unity was the game engine used).
This game has a simple visual style. The objects in the game keep the basic shapes of real-world references but are simplified when put into a game format (Blender was used to create the models).
Each theme has its own colour palette that follows.

The scenery is not overcrowded, to keep the main focus on the game itself. The main character has a "wardrobe" in which there are different cosmetics. These can be unlocked by purchasing them with the in-game currency called Yarn after the user has progressed to new themes.

Child Support (2020)
In my first year at university, a dear friend/colleague and I collaborated on a Game
Science module project. We worked together on all aspects using our university's
engine
with very limited available assets.

"Child Support" is a 2D physics-based platform game where an elf must rescue her captured brother from three demon siblings.

The game unfolds in three stages: in the first stage, the elf aims to hit an apple above her brother's head with arrows to ensure his safety. Although she succeeds, he remains captive. In the second stage, she's trapped within a castle filled with hazards, including bombs, razors, and machine guns, and with an external cannon threat. Her brother's safety hinges on her escape from the castle. After a daring breakout, the demon still takes the child away. In the final stage, the main character is confronted with the last demon in outer space. The level adopts a "Pong" style with the characters positioned at either end of a force field containing the child in the middle. They can shoot at each other, aiming around the force field. If the main character loses, the child remains captive; if she wins, the child is rescued and can return home on her sister's spaceship.

Zombie High: School of the Dead (2020)
In my first year at university, I collaborated with other colleagues on a Games
Programming module project. 'Zombie High: School of the Dead' is a 3D game where I led the game design, overseeing level design, character design, and narrative development. The game's premise involves navigating an infected school to rescue professors from virus-infected students by using an antidote to combat zombies.

As the game's narrative designer, I crafted relatable characters with backstories
addressing mental health. Their hobbies serve as special attacks that drive the
gameplay's core, with united characters emerging as the key to saving the world from zombies. In level design, I carefully sketched and digitized the school's classes and floors, with AutoCAD software, to create a detailed environment.
Overall, this prototype presented exciting challenges that fueled my passion for game design and continuous learning.
